Evening worship is on Sundays at 7:00 pm. It is a lovely service that is both intimate and informal. It has a small group “feel.” We meet in the church library.
We make use of an ancient Christian practice called “Lectio Divina,” a way of listening to the Scriptures slowly and attentively, consciously relying on the Holy Spirit and using the “ears of our hearts.” We meditate on the passage that will be preached on the following Sunday morning. For more info on this, read this article.
We ordinarily celebrate Communion (the Lord’s Supper) in evening worship on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
(There are no evening services on Labour Day weekend, the Thanksgiving weekend, the two or three Sundays around Christmas, on Easter Sunday, on the May long weekend, nor in July and August.)
